Meet our team!

Alandra Barairo

Alandra is a second year student at the University of Manitoba, pursuing a Bachelor of Environmental Design in the Faculty of Architecture.  Despite not going directly into the field of health sciences, she still holds a large interest in the field and believes Project Pulse is important for providing opportunities for students to learn about the field and their futures.

Alandra has been part of Project Pulse Winnipeg for almost five years. She first participated in Project Pulse Winnipeg as an Ambassador in 2016.  Later, she joined the executive team as the Events Director in 2017 and 2018 and eventually worked as the Sponsorships Director in 2019.  Through her time on the executive team, she was able to learn more about different careers in the health sciences and was able to make connections with people all over the city.  Using her knowledge and experience from the executive team, she hopes to be able to continue helping the team as a Principal Advisor.

Kristine is a first year student in the Faculty of Science and in the Food Nutrition and Health Program in the University of British Columbia. She had graduated from the International Baccalaureate program in 2020 at Kelvin High School. With this said, knowing that some of these answers are so important to many students, she is very thrilled to be part of the executive team of Project Pulse Winnipeg again with other members of the online team!
