Wisdom Ojo

Co - President

I’m Wisdom Ojo, and I’m a grade 11 student at St. John’s-Ravenscourt School. This year, I will be a Co-President for Project Pulse Winnipeg. As someone who has always taken a great interest in the health sciences, I joined Project Pulse last year in the hope of lending my time and skills to enlighten high school students like myself to discover the world of health sciences. Now in my second year as a part of the executive team, I am looking forward to working with a brilliant team of hardworking and dedicated students to organize the first in-person conference in 3 years!

In addition to having an undeniable passion for the health sciences, I demonstrate my love for the sciences by taking my school's AP courses in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. I also enjoy math and competing in various math contests has allowed me to obtain various distinction awards in the Beaver, Pascal, CIMC, Fryer, Cayley, and Galois contests. Apart from academics, I enjoy a broad range of extracurriculars, including student council involvement, debate tournaments, and being captain of my JV basketball team. Outside school, I volunteer as a small group leader at my church. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, hanging out with friends, and watching movies.
